To Help You Lose Weight, Try Some of These Suggestions:
Make a plan and write it down. Spend some time doing this. Plan and write down all the details of what you’ll do, how you’ll do it, and when you’ll do it. If you don’t know where you are going and how you are going to get there, you won’t get there. It isn’t enough to want to lose weight you must take action to do it. Choose what actions you are willing to take. Be realistic! Set reasonable goals.
Display your Plan where you can see it each day.
If you will be adding additional food to your 3 Cambridge’s a day, choose what you will eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pick foods that you LIKE that are low in calories and fat. Decide which meal will be your main meal.
It is easier if you are willing to eat the same breakfast every day, the same lunch every day, and the same dinner every day because once you figure the number calories you are eating for each meal you are done. It isn’t too hard to do if you pick foods that you LIKE. Of course, if you have a day you want something different that is ok.
If you are adding additional food, it will help you with your weight loss if you are willing to write down everything you eat, and how many calories you consume for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Decide on the amount of calories that you will add each day. You may add 400 to 800 calories to your 3 Cambridge’s a day. Do your best to not add more calories than you choose, BUT you are not perfect so you may slip up occasionally. When you do, just forget it, and continue trying.
Tell everyone that you are serious about losing weight and you are going to do it now. Ask for their help and encouragement. Tell them what you want them to do to help you. (I know this is hard to do, but it will help you lose weight). First, those who care about you, should try to help you, and second you will try harder because others will know if you quit.
If there are people in your life that sometimes try to sabotage your weight loss, try to avoid being with them. Spend as much time as possible with people who support your weight loss goals, and those people with whom you feel happy and comfortable.
